CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4

Who wants to spend a bunch of time taking a course on how to utilize their graphics software? Most people just want to tackle creative graphics and design projects with confidence and ease. I personally don't have a lot of spare time on my hands so I was pleasantly surprised by the latest release of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4. With 2 hrs. of in-the-box video training, a hints docker to guide me along and 80 professional design templates, I have what I need to get up and running quickly. Not to mention a collection of more than 10,000 high-quality clipart and digital images, 1,000 professional high resolution digital photos and 1,000 OpenType fonts.


Plus, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 is a reasonably priced, you can upgrade from a previous version for less than $200 or if you’re new to CorelDRAW, you can get it from Buy.com for under $400. And that’s much less than a lot of the graphics programs out there. It is packed with power! You have the ability to create vector graphics and lay out multiple pages with CorelDRAW, edit images - including RAW camera files- with PHOTO-PAINT, convert a poorquality bitmap image to a vector with PowerTRACE and capture images from your computer screen with CAPTURE!


CorelDRAWGraphics Suite X4 has Market-leading file compatibility with over 100 import/export filters. Playing friendly with others allows for a painless design process. We have included support for Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator CS3, The latest PDF formats 1.7, PDF/A and Adobe Acrobat 8. Plus importing Microsoft Publisher documents or formatted text from Microsoft Word 2007 is a breeze. 

For instance, many of our tools give you live feedback. The New Live text formatting lets users see how a text formatting change will look before applying it to a document. It's handy and time-saving and reduces those undo redo steps. Interactive Tables provide a structured layout for my text and graphics and New independent page layers let me control and edit content easily. 

Not only is formatting of text simple, but if I need to identify a font we now integrate with WhatTheFont. I just select the font in question and let the online service from MyFonts.com find a match! Melissa: The layout functionality is impressive but what about image editing? That seems to be a hot topic these days! Tanya: Good point! I can take any bitmap image from my CorelDRAW page into PHOTO-PAINT for image editing. From straightening an image to more advanced adjustments like modifying the tone curve of an image, PHOTO-PAINT can do it all and lets me preview image-editing changes in real time by using histogram feedback. It will even allow you to open up more than 300 raw camera file formats.
