In the Techlight

As for what’s starring “In the Techlight,” this week, I’ve got the new Dynadock USB Docking Station from Toshiba. It’s the cool new way to add peripherals to your computer system, including six USB 2.0 ports, 7.1 channel surround sound via the S/PDIF port, and a high resolution video output for viewing up to three monitors, simultaneously.

Check out the LaCie Big Disk Extreme Hard Drive. It enables you to easily share data among the widest range of user platforms and features a massive 1 Terabyte of storage space.

Supercharge your wireless network connection, with D-Link’s new Xtreme N Gigabit Router, which delivers signal up to 14 times faster and 6 times farther than 802.11g.

Plus, notebook users need to check out Logitech’s QuickCam for Notebooks Pro. Not only does it bring instant messages to life, it’ll also help you create and edit videos, capture high-quality photos, and is small enough to fit in your pocket for total portability.

As for music, the Black Crowes, Wilco, The American Idols, Macy Gray, Tony Bennett, Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, Public Enemy, and Nickelback, will all be hitting the road this week in the U.S.

And hitting theaters, it’s the latest from the creator of “Knocked Up,” and “The 40-year Old Virgin,” and it’s called “Superbad.” Other movies being released this weekend, include “The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters,” and Nicole Kidman in “The Invasion.”

Thanks for reading!
