My Interview With Nikki Sixx - Co-Founder of Motley Crue and Six:AM

"The Heroin Diaries" is the new book and soundtrack CD from Nikki Sixx, co-founder of the most legendary rock band of the eighties, Mötley Crüe. They chronicle Nikki's descent into drug addiction during the late 80's in a way no other medium has done before.  Today, I was lucky enough to spend some time with Nikki and talk about this incredible project. Below are some of the questions  I asked Nikki. I will post our interview as soon as it becomes available.

Interview:

1. Nikki, thanks again for making time to talk with us about your new book and album.  It sounds like quite a story… what made you decide to publish these writings?

2. I read that you have plans to take the concept of the book to a new level.  What do you have up your sleeve?

3. The album features yourself and two other artists - James Michael and DJ Ashba – creating a new group SIXX: AM.  Do you guys have plans to hit the road as a group?

4. The album tracks are the titles of the chapters in the book.  Two of the songs are on your MySpace page – “Life Is Beautiful” and “Pray For Me”.  Both are great songs.  Which song is your favorite?

5. I understand a portion of the proceeds from the book sales will go to your charity – Running Wild In The Night.  Why is this group so important to you?

6. Mötley Crüe is known as the most legendary rock band of the eighties.  Your career spans twenty-five years and over 40 million albums sold.  I know you recently played a few shows in Europe… can we expect to see you guys in the states sometime soon?

In Close:

Today he’s a family man with numerous projects in the works, including songwriting for other artists, a movie, a new band, a clothing line, and ongoing work with “The Crüe.”  Check out Nikki’s new book "The Heroin Diaries"at Buy.com today.  It’s the most addictive rock-n-roll tale since The Dirt.
